One in five women in the UK have experienced economic abuse in the past year from a current or ex-partner.
Economic abuse includes controlling finances, blocking access to medication and food, and destroying credit ratings.
Black, Asian, and minority ethnic women are almost twice as likely to endure economic abuse compared to white women. [ more ]
